January 2025 was an absolutely massive month for readers. If your TBR pile didn’t topple over, you were definitely doing something right. We kicked off the year with some highly anticipated heavy hitters that completely took over the bestseller charts.

For fantasy lovers, Rebecca Yarros finally dropped Onyx Storm, throwing us right back into the deadly chaos of Basgiath War College. Meanwhile, thriller fans got their hearts racing with Freida McFadden’s snowbound nightmare, The Crash. We even saw a literary masterpiece with Han Kang’s deeply moving We Do Not Part.
